The unique Amalia sculptures add character to our courtyard, while the ceramic figurines have found a special place in our living room.
All Amalia sculptures are handmade by Haitham using cement.
Amalia represents an elegant Curaçaoan woman with South American roots.
Some of the ceramic figurines have made their way to far-off places including the USA, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Brazil, Israel, and Australia.
In our living room, you can also view paintings by, among others, André Nagtegaal and Omar Maduro.
The name after “Amalia” was chosen in honor of a woman who has played a significant role in Haitham’s life:

She came from Lebanon. She was quite strict with her grandson and had high expectations of him.
She was a very proud grandmother.

She can play the violin, she can sing and she draws beautifully.
Danielle will be taking over Casa Amalia from her father in the near future.

Nadine is Haitham's cousin.
She is an animal lover.
She tries to convince Haitham to adopt a cat or dog, but Haitham always say "NO, thank you".

She is the only statue with a mosaic swimsuit.
