PLEASE NOTE: Casa Amalia is located above street level, and unfortunately our facilities are not designed to accommodate guests with special needs. 

Casa Amalia is only accessible via a staircase with at least 18 steps.

At Casa Amalia we welcome guests aged 12 and over.

We have not inherited the earth from our fathers. We have borrowed it from our children.

Air conditioners have consequences for the climate because they consume a lot of electricity and also contain refrigerant. The refrigerant has a major climate impact.

Please be climate-friendly: turn off the air conditioning when you are not at home, and when you have the air conditioning on, make sure that all shutters and doors are closed.

Our rates include 10kWh of air conditioning usage per night, which is equivalent to approximately 10 hours of usage.

Once this limit is reached, the air conditioning will automatically switch off. Of course, you can purchase additional kWh if needed.

A cleaning service is provided once per week, including fresh bed linen.

Should you require clean towels, you are welcome to exchange used ones with us during the weekdays in the morning hours. 

Casa Amalia is a guesthouse that is specially designed for people who do not smoke, but since smokers also like to stay with us, we have created a special smoking area for these guests. 

It is NOT permitted to smoke inside our accommodations, nor in the courtyard or in the corridors. 

This also applies to e-cigarettes. 

The use of narcotics is illegal on Curaçao. 

If you use drugs on our property or we find drugs in your accommodation we will inform the police.
